As the title suggests this is my first post! Hi blog!
I am currently studying Design Arts at ANU in Canberra Australia, my major is in Gold and Silversmithing, but I also do a lot of drawing. I would like to use this delightful blog to show progressions of my work as well as other art and design tidbits.
For now however ‘under construction’ would be the best way to describe my blog, my work and my life!
Dear sketching metals – I’d be interested to know whether you plan to totally integrate drawing with metals – or to keep them separate – ie drawing designs and then making them.
Well thanks for your interesting Q teapothead! I would actually like to do both if that makes sense. Combining the two would make for some interesting work!(and of course it’s always good to draw designs before making them!)

Hi Anonymous! It’s actually not a photo but a drawing I did in 2006 for a uni assignment. It started as a sketch that I scanned into Photoshop then put through a filter, I think the filter was called ‘neon’. It’s pretty simple stuff! If you can get access to photoshop you should have a play around with it, you can do some awesome things!
Just checked it out. I agree with teapothead about the drawing on the title page. It’s wonderful! I’m looking forward 2 more. Especially works in progress!
