Well hi again everybody! I’ve been more than a little slack with keeping up my entries of late, I went on holiday last month and never seemed to get back into it. But I’ve found my mojo again!
Here is some pictures of a commission I did for a friends sons 19th birthday. The ring is made of sterling silver with a small uncut ruby set by folding up the edges of the two small squares, then gently pressing them against the stone. (sorry the photos aren’t the best, the ruby came out looking like a raisin! Photography isn’t my strong point!!) It was my first proper commission so I was pretty excited!
interesting design I like it, …
That’s very contemporary looking and I can imagine it on my own hand! I’ll bet it looks truly impressive as an adornment on that guy’s hand.
hey mary, great work on the ring! Now, I have this idea for a full suit of armour I would like for you to make…
🙂
Thanks for the kind words everyone! 🙂
Making a suit of amour would be awesome! During my interview to get into art school I remember saying that was one of the things I wanted to make, haven’t got around to it yet tho. You’ll hafta tell me your idea!
